Do you take custom cake orders?
Yes! Custom cakes are our specialty and we love to make one-of-a-kind works for your one-of-a-kind celebrations. To inquire please email us at hello@seurieco.com to begin the process of ordering your custom cake.
Please note we require a deposit of 50% after an initial consultation to lock in your date and move forward with the ordering + designing process.
When should I place an order?
Please place your order at least 10 days in advance.
Orders placed within 5 days of your requested date will be subject to an additional fee depending on how soon you need the cake and if we have the availability.
Since we’re a small business (partial emphasis on the small) we may reach capacity on certain dates or holidays, so we recommend placing your order as soon as your event date is set!
Do you ship cakes nationwide?
Unfortunately, due to the fragile nature of our cream flowers we do not ship cakes nor deliver them outside of our locale.
Do you have allergy-friendly/gluten-free cake options?
We can take special requests to accommodate certain allergies, however the environment we make our cakes in is not nut/dairy/fruit free. If you have very severe allergies to any of these unfortunately we will not be able to make a suitable cake for you.
For our gluten-free offerings, consider our rice cakes and yanggaeng
Made of rice flour, bean paste, sugar, and fruit fillings, our rice cakes are perfect for gluten-free celebrations or if you’re looking for a fun alternative to your every day cake. As an accompaniment we offer traditional Korean jellies called yanggaeng, which are made with agar and bean paste, and flavored with fruit or other natural flavorings, making them naturally vegan and gluten-free.
Does my cake need to be refrigerated?
Buttercream cakes
Refrigerate your buttercream cake if it’s to be consumed more than 3 hours after delivery.
We deliver our cakes when they are almost ready to be consumed (within an hour after delivery) so you can get the best eating experience, but if left out for too long it can melt or become greasy tasting.
For the best eating experience we recommend bringing your cake to room temperature around 1-2 hours before your event. You can do so by placing it out on a counter (away from direct sun/heat) and letting it slowly come to temperature. This way you can bite into a perfectly soft and moist cake!
Rice cakes
Consume within 6-8 hours and DO NOT refrigerate
Rice cakes are a delicious and chewy steamed rice treat that is best consumed within a couple of hours of delivery. Due to its short shelf life we recommend eating your cake within 6-8 hours of delivery.
If you have leftovers and wish to eat it at a later time scrape off the bean paste, wrap well with cling film and freeze. When you’re ready to eat you can steam for 15-20 minutes and it’ll be good to go.
